Our Approach to making an impact

Practical support, focused on progress and independence. At Brave Consult & Support Services, we take a person-centred approach that recognises each individual's circumstances, strengths, needs and goals. We provide practical support that helps people navigate everyday challenges, access appropriate services and opportunities, and develop greater confidence in managing their lives. Our support is designed to be purposeful and responsive. Where appropriate, we work alongside individuals to identify priorities, agree realistic goals, review progress and adapt support as circumstances change. We also recognise when an individual's needs require specialist or statutory intervention and support appropriate referral or signposting.

Our support is intended to:

  • Promote greater independence and personal responsibility
  • Improve stability in areas relevant to an individual's circumstances
  • Strengthen practical life and independent living skills
  • Support housing and tenancy sustainment
  • Improve access to education, training and employment opportunities
  • Encourage positive participation in community life
  • Reduce practical barriers to accessing relevant services and resources
  • Help individuals work towards clearly identified and measurable outcomes.
